United Beauty joins forces with Get Wicked to launch the first ever Star Nails Bar!

The 15th of December 2008 marks a memorable day in United Beauty’s history with the opening of the first Star Nails® Bar; Get Wicked.

United Beauty is delighted to be working in partnership with Get Wicked to provide first class nail and spray tanning services and training using United Beauty’s methods and Star Nails® and Solglo® products in Devon, Cornwall, Bristol and surrounding areas.

In 2001 Newton Abbot’s old police station in Union Street was converted from prison cells to beauty treatment rooms and Get Wicked first opened its doors to the public. Tracy Simpson, owner of Get Wicked, trained using United Beauty’s Star Nails® product range and has been loyal to the brand ever since. This loyalty has resulted in United Beauty and Get Wicked joining forces to launch not only the South West’s, but the UK’s first Star Nails® Bar based at 19 Union Street, Newton Abbot.

Tracy Simpson, owner of Get Wicked said of the partnership: " Having trained and qualified as a nail technician with Star Nails over 8 years ago and setting up and running my salon Get Wicked Nails, Hair, Beauty and Tanning over 7 years ago, we have continued to use the United Beauty brand Star Nails. I am proud now to become a Star Nails educator and Get Wicked to become the first 'STAR NAILS BAR' with in salon training in Manicure, Pedicure, Nail art and Nail Extensions, using the new branded Star Nails products. “

With this in mind, all training courses follow a rigorous programme of study and students are required to practice their skills and build their portfolio in-between tuition days.
