Manicure and Pedicure Training

The starting point for any United Beauty trained nail technician is to develop a detailed knowledge of the nail physiology. It is a mandatory requirement before progressing onto any of our Nail Extension courses that the student holds a relevant manicure qualification/certificate.

Overview:

This course is essential to understand the core elements of natural nail care. Manicures and pedicures are relaxing treatments that cares for the condition of client’s skin as well as the nails. It is a popular service for clients of all ages and a great starting point to becoming a nail technician or for qualified technition looking to extend their skills and client base by branching in to natural nail care. During the course you will be working in pairs.

Practical
- Basic manicure
- Treatment manicure
- Hand and arm massage
- Application of french & coloured polish
- Basic pedicure including filing, shaping and cuticle work
- Leg and foot massage

What will I get?

- Manicure Handbook
- Pedicure Handbook
- Certificate of Attendance

What else will I need?

- Ensure your hair is kept off your face and tied back where necessary
- Remove Jewellery
- Nail Extensions should be removed and nails should be short and unpolished
- Feet should be clean & toe nails unpolished

You will need to bring the following:

- 2 x hand towels
- Cuticle nippers (available for purchase)
- Notebook and pen
- Packed lunch (refreshments will be provided)
- Salon tunic required (available for purchase £10)

One full day 10am - 4pm
